{"id":8617,"date":"2015-10-14T08:50:12","date_gmt":"2015-10-14T08:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indianewsnet.com\/?p=8617"},"modified":"2015-10-14T08:50:12","modified_gmt":"2015-10-14T08:50:12","slug":"english-best-unions-threaten-strike-on-employee-bonus-issue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indianewsnet.com\/marathi\/?p=8617","title":{"rendered":"<!--:en-->BEST unions threaten strike on employee bonus issue<!--:-->"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:en-->Two big BEST unions have threatened a three day bus strike in the city &#8212; on October 26, 27 and 28 &#8212; if their demands for &#8220;employee bonus&#8221; for Diwali is not accepted by the administration.<\/p>\n<p>The two unions are the ones led by Shashank Rao (BEST workers union) and the Shiv Sena union led by Sunil Ganacharya and Suhas Samant.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;About 40,000 employees have been denied ex-gratia payment for the past three years when they had been receiving the same for the past three decades,&#8221; said Rao. &#8220;This is unfair and we will agitate aggresively this time if our demands are rejected.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Said Ganacharya, &#8220;The undertaking had posted profits to the tune of Rs 67 crore in 2014-15.
