{"id":5727,"date":"2015-08-24T11:12:39","date_gmt":"2015-08-24T11:12:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indianewsnet.com\/?p=5727"},"modified":"2015-08-24T11:12:39","modified_gmt":"2015-08-24T11:12:39","slug":"english-qatars-emir-receives-letter-postal-stamps-from-prime-minister-narendra-modi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indianewsnet.com\/marathi\/?p=5727","title":{"rendered":"<!--:en-->Qatar&#8217;s Emir receives letter, postal stamps from Prime Minister Narendra Modi<!--:-->"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:en-->DUBAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a letter along with a set of postal stamps and coins to the Emir of Qatar, appreciating the Gulf nation&#8217;s support for the first International Yoga day.<\/p>\n<p>India&#8217;s ambassador to Qatar Sanjiv Arora on Sunday handed over the letter to Qatar&#8217;s foreign minister Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah to present it to country&#8217;s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.<\/p>\n<p>Arora also presented a commemorative set of postal stamps and coins that were specially commissioned in India on the occasion of the first International Day of Yoga(IDY) on June 21 this year.<\/p>\n<p>Attiyah said he would handover the letter along with the souvenir to its highest destination immediately.<\/p>\n<p>The items sent by Modi are a token of India&#8217;s appreciation for Qatar&#8217;s support for the IDY initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The items were handed over to Attiyah during a meeting in which strong ties and multi-dimensional cooperation between India and Qatar were discussed, including issues related to the welfare of the large and diverse Indian community in the Gulf country.<\/p>\n<p>The UN General Assembly declared June 21 as &#8216;International Day of Yoga&#8217; less than three months after Prime Minister Modi had proposed<!--:--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DUBAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a letter along with a set of postal stamps and coins to the Emir of Qatar, appreciating the Gulf nation&#8217;s support for the first International Yoga day.
