Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Wang met Goa chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Friday to review the logistics and security arrangements for Chinese President Xi Jinping\u2019s proposed visit in October to the coastal state for the BRICS summit. He is on a three-day visit to India.<\/p>\n

A China-led opposition earlier this year India\u2019s entry to the NSG, which aims to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons. Beijing\u2019s contention was that India was not a signatory of a key nuclear non-proliferation treaty.<\/p>\n
