The chief minister\u2019s office has set targets for major departments for 2016-17, as part of their key result area (KRA) tasks.<\/p>\n
This includes redevelopment of the government colony at Bandra and the Worli dairy, digitisation and an update of land records.<\/p>\n
It also includes an at least partial realisation of the Rs 1 lakh crore investment from Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the Make In India week early this year.<\/p>\n
The tasks set for this year were recently communicated to all the departments.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have set up online modules for all the departments with about 15 tasks each to be completed under the KRA,\u201d said an official in the CMO.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe targets are set by chief secretary Swadheen Kshatriya and finalised by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis after they are proposed by the departments,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe CM reviews the targets and their implementation of major departments every three months,\u201d added the official.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe confidential report of the performance of the administrative heads (secretaries) is directly linked with the KRA performance,\u201d the official added.<\/p>\n
The public works department has been asked to expedite the plans of redevelopment of the Bandra government colony and Worli dairy in Mumbai.<\/p>\n
Both fall in prime real estate and redevelopment will help the government unlock value of the land.<\/p>\n
For instance, the government colony in Bandra is spread across 93 acres and can help fetch the government thousands of crores through commercial exploitation of the land.<\/p>\n
The department has also been directed to set the target for the completion of the state highways and their upgrade on deferred payments and annuity methods.<\/p>\n
The revenue department has been tasked with cent per cent e-mutation of land records, besides finalising the policy for conversion of land from Class II to Class I under the ease-of-doing-business policy.<\/p>\n
It has also been directed to create multiple e-payment gateways for land revenue payments.<\/p>\n
It has also been directed to draft a law for the security of tenants to entitle them for farm loans\/crop insurance.<\/p>\n
Mutation is the process of updating land records, including changes in ownership after transfer or sale.<\/p>\n
